THE SENTIUM TEAM CONSISTS of public relations, marketing, and graphic production professionals who combine talents and expertise to create the exact materials needed for your ratepayer relations program. The team covers the gamut from strategy to brochure design to web site production.
Founded by marketing veteran, author, and leadership expert, Richard Wilson, the Sentium approach is grounded on practical, proven techniques that get results.
Headquartered in Northern California, the Sentium team serves clients located throughout the United States.
Understanding, distilling, and effectively communicating ideas are skills at which Richard has excelled throughout his professional life. For him it is a lifelong passion. Over the past 34 years this fascination has driven him to successfully create programs for services from water districts to technology products to musical theater companies.
Richard has created public relations, direct mail, and sales-support programs for major organizations such as Merisel, Anthem Electronics, Charles Schwab, the State of California, and various city governments.
With this extensive background in all phases of strategic marketing decisions, he brings a unique understanding to both public sector and private sector companies. In addition, he has a broad understanding of the consumer mindset gained from his early years in broadcasting.
Beginning his career in media, Richard was responsible for sales and on-air listener promotions for KEZR in San Jose. The youngest promotions director for a major station on the West Coast, he developed programs for Coca-Cola, California Milk Advisory Board, Wienerschnitzel Restaurants, San Jose Earthquakes, Marine World/Africa USA, and José Cuervo Tequila.
Richard has gone on to help produce events for San Francisco 49ers Entertainment, World Cup Soccer, Women’s World Cup Soccer, East-West Shrine Game, and the 100th Cal-Stanford Big Game as well as industry conferences and meetings.
His skills came into sharp focus as the Executive Producer of the Leaders of the New Century Project which interviewed 200 leaders of top-performing organizations in business, the arts, sports and the community. He is co-author of 16 audiobooks/DVDs, including; The Day I Blew Up The Factory – One on One with Jack Welch, The Leaders of the New Century Series, and Women on Leadership.
Richard is a highly respected speaker and has been featured at a number of national conferences. He has been a guest lecturer at:

Always feeling that people have a responsibility to actively contribute to their community, Richard joined the Executive Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Santa Clara County. By nature a “hands-on” person, he spent five years volunteering as well as teaching junior high school students about the free enterprise system.
He served as the publicity chairman for the Santa Clara County Business Hall of Fame at its inception and during the first four years of its existence. He was a founding member of the Board of Directors for Narconon of Northern California, a drug rehabilitation center.
He currently serves as the CEO of El Dorado Musical Theatre, a not-for-profit group that has rapidly grown to be one of the largest youth theaters on the West Coast.
Richard lives with his wife and two sons in Northern California.
